.Looking forward to 2011
Dear Friends, As we approach the end of another fun-packed Scouting year can I thank everyone for their contribution to making young lives better in North East London! We've seen numerous Group Centenarys, our County Expedition to Norway, our Youth Programme Conference and of course continued growth with over 300 additional youth and adult members joining!
2011 promises to be just as exciting with the launch of our new County Commissioners Challenge (more of this from your DCs soon!), Showstoppers and of course the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden, where we have a full contingent from the County going abroad for the first time in many years. It all promises to be a lot of fun!
Every adult in the County has contributed to our sucess so whatever your role might be you can be proud of the fact that as a team we are all enriching young people's lives and doing so much to improve society in North East London.
Have a restful festive period and I look forward to seeing you all throughout 2011!
