Southport Sailing Club National Junior 12 Hour Race For the attention of Scout Leaders in charge of Sailing. The Southport Sailing Club National Junior 12 Hour Race will be held this year on Saturday 27 JUNE 2009, 8am-8pm. This will be the 24th time the event has been held, proving its popularity as clubs choose to return each year. The Race is open to the following classes of dinghy: - GP14, Enterprise and Bosun Dinghies. Team members must be under 20 years of age on the day of the race, if entering an U20 team, Alternatively members must be under 18 years of age on the day of the race, if entering an U18 team. There is no lower age limit. Different age groups can win a range of trophies and awards during the twelve hours. A Notice of Race, Entry forms, sailing instructions and details of trophies are available to view or download on the SSC Website www.southportsailingclub.org.uk . I enclose a Flyer giving notice of the event. If you could arrange for its display on your club notice board, and/or its distribution to your junior members I would be extremely grateful.
