Saturday 9th March saw 23 Scouts representing a number of Districts from across the County in the annual GLNE Scout Chess Competition. It was good to see this turnout and hopefully even a larger one next year with ALL Districts fielding a full team. The standards of play were very high and it was good to see sportsmanship also play a vital role in, what was a very close competition. There was a tie for first place with Chingford and Ilford North Districts being the title holders for the next year.
