400 Beaver Scouts and their leaders from across the County met at Gilwell Park on Saturday 2 October to celebrate 18 years of Beaver Scouting. The Beavers started the party by playing lots of different party games and then had a huge picnic.

One Beaver Scout from each District was then chosen to blow out the candles on the huge birthday cake made by Mrs Sadler from Leyton District. Also attending the party was the National Commissioner for Beaver Scouts and Dean Milton County Commissioner.

The day was finished with a huge camp fire and every Beaver Scout took home a piece of birthday cake.
