On Saturday 20th March 2004 at Fullwell Cross Swimming Pool, Barkingside, the County held its Annual Swimming Gala. 8 Districts out of the 11 that make up the County took part. All Sections were represented and the standard and sportsmanship was as always exceptional. I would like to congratulate all the competitors for the fortitude and effort every one of them put into to their swimming. I would like to thank all the people to many to list that helped to run the Gala and make it such a successful evening.

I do hope all Districts will try and put a team in the event next year on Saturday 19th March 2005.
