More than 180 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers and hundreds of proud parents and leaders attended the second Chief Scout Award presentation at Gilwell Park on Monday 28 February 2005. Each recipient was awarded their well deserved certificate by the County Commissioner Dean Milton and County President Col. Alan Hall.

Commenting on this special event, Dean Milton County Commissioner said "Those presented with certificates tonight have acquired many new skills and qualities. It is these very skills that prepare our young people for the future and gives them that head start in life."

"Our members show responsibility for themselves, their surroundings and the wider world. Our young people are proud of who they are and do not follow the crowd."

The next presentation will be held at Gilwell Park in November 2005. Anyone achieving the Chief Scout Award should complete the relevant postcard available from all Scout Shops in our County and submit to the County Secretary.

Over 400 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Parents and Leaders attended the Greater London North East Chief Scout Awards presentation at Gilwell Park on Monday 14 November 2005. The young people attending were presented with their well deserved Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond certificates by Dean Milton County Commissioner and Col. Alan Hall County President.

Commenting on the event, Dean Milton said. "Bringing together Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from across the County to Gilwell Park, the home of Scouting, is a great way to mark this significant achievement. It's brilliant to see so many proud parents and leaders and young people."
