Over 150 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Networkers attended the bi annual Chief Scout Award presentation on Tuesday 7 November 2007 at Gilwell Park Chingford. Those present were presented with their framed certificate by County Commissioner Dean Milton and County President Col. Alan Hall.

Commenting on the event, Dean Milton said. “Our members show responsibility for themselves, their surroundings and the wider world. Our young people are proud of who they are and do not follow the crowd.”

“Whether they are Beavers, Cubs, Scouts Explorer Scouts or Networkers, each individual has met a number of personal goals and faced many challenges so early in their life.”

“Throughout their journey supported by their leaders, they have acquired many new skills and qualities. It is these very skills and qualities that prepare our young people for the future and gives them that head start in life.”
