Eight teams entered from Fellowships in the County. After a hard fought battle with the lead changing many times during the evening, the Winners of the Ted Fitter Fellowship Quiz Trophy, by only half a point were the “Sensational Seven” from Ilford East with 84 ½ points, closely followed by the “Brainy Bunch” from Ilford East 84 points, then “Chingford Challengers” 83pts, “Northwest Frontier” Ilford NorthWest 80pts, “Laurie’s Lot” Newham 79 ½ pts, “Booby Team” Ilford East 75pts and “Banner Team” Barking & Dagenham 72pts. The Marathon prize was won by “Laurie’s Lot” from Newham. Everyone enjoyed the fun evening and are looking forward to next year. The event raised £170.54 which goes this year to the Cub Section collection for Guide Dogs.
