Introduction
Our Vision and Strategy 2005 - 2008
Introduction from the County Commissioner
Our Aims
Our aim in Greater London North East has always been to provide enjoyable Scouting to a growing membership that is open to all young people and adults regardless of ability.
We will provide for our members, the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities, in a safe and happy environment. We will strive to promote the development of our young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential.
We will recognise and acknowledge the efforts of our leaders and those who support them. We will provide leaders with high quality support and training, necessary to ensure we offer our members the very best Scouting we can.
We recognise the critical role of adult leadership and in particular the need to engage, recruit, retain, support and train both leaders and other adults so that we can provide young people with the very best Scouting possible.
Finally, we will work together as a team, with common purpose and clear direction, with everyone playing their part in delivering the best results for Scouting in Greater London North East.
Our Vision
A Growing Membership – “To increase membership across the County.”
A Youth Movement – “Led by young leaders with the appropriate skills and qualities, supported by experienced, qualified volunteers.”
