ACC (Explorer Scouts)

It is with regret that I have to announce the resignation of Charles Paddon as ACC (Explorer Scouts) with immediate effect.

Charles is getting married soon and has decided to scale back some of his commitments during this busy time. Charles has played a key part in the development of Explorer Scouting across the County over the last couple of years and we thank him for his support and look forward to him getting involved in other projects in due course. The process of finding a replacement begins immediately. Anyone who would like to discuss the role or nominate someone to take it on is asked to contact myself for further details.

In the interim, Dean Jefferys County Commissioner, will be responsible for the Explorer Scout Section - the DESCs meeting planned for Wednesday 10 September will go ahead as planned and an agenda will follow in due course.
