First Response 10b (10a part 2 and 10b Practical)

This course gives you the essential first aid skills needed for volunteering with Scouts. It focuses on practical responses to the situations you are most likely to face in Scouting activities.
You will learn how to:
- Assess and manage an incident
- Deal with an unresponsive person (including CPR and use of AEDs)
- Recognise and treat common medical emergencies (e.g. asthma, anaphylaxis, seizures, diabetes, heart attack, stroke)
- Manage bleeding, burns, fractures, and environmental injuries
- Provide care until professional help arrives
Who it’s for
- All adults in Scouting who require a First Response certificate for their role
Certificate
- Valid for 3 years. Refresher training required to remain up to date.
First Response 10b (10a part 2 and 10b Practical)
A 3hr session to cover 10a part 2 zoom and practical 10b.(module 10b+)
