What Is The Jack Petchey Award Scheme?
The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme is a youth recognition program founded by Sir Jack Petchey to celebrate the achievements of young people aged 11–25 across London and Essex. The scheme empowers schools and youth organizations to recognize and reward individuals who have made a positive contribution, whether through personal effort, overcoming challenges, helping others, or showing outstanding commitment. Award winners receive a certificate, a pin badge, and a monetary grant to spend on a project or activity that benefits their peers or community.
