Jack Petchey Award Scheme
The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme recognises outstanding young people aged 11-25 across London and Essex. The County has participated in the Scheme since 2000. We have an allocation of 126 Awards shared across the Districts in GLNE. The Award attracts a grant of £250 for the winner's Group or Unit.
The following forms are used in the administration of the Scheme within GLNE:
- RF1 - this form is used to notify the County Co-ordinator of an award winner's details
- RF2 - this form is used to notify the County Co-ordinator of how the Award Grant has been spent / is intended to be spent
The Scheme runs in two periods over the year:
- January - June (RF1s to be submitted to the County by 31 March)
- July - November (RF1s to be submitted to the County by 30 September)
The Jack Petchey Foundation have published a number of resources to assist in the operation of the Scheme:
